Course Description

The CPR re-certifying course is designed to refresh the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant following cardiac arrest. The recommended industry standard to maintain current competency is for this course to be refreshed every 12 months.

Within certain degrees, particularly those within Health Sciences, your School may require you to undertake annual CPR Refresher training (check with your Unit Coordinator).

Course Prerequisites

To book into this refresher course, students must have successfully completed and hold a current certificate in Provide First Aid (HLTAID003). Students must present their certificate on the day of the course.
